Discover, Share, and Connect: Unleash Your Creativity with Substack’s Exciting New Feature – Notes

Substack has launched a new feature called Notes.

Notes is a platform for users to share short-form content, ideas, and thoughts with other writers and readers.

It aims to help writers grow their audience and revenue.

Notes can be found in a tab beside Inbox at substack.com and in Substack’s mobile apps.

Unlike an Inbox post, a Notes post does not get sent to subscribers via email.

Notes is part of Substack’s ongoing efforts to build a subscription network that benefits writers and readers, rewards quality work, and supports free press and speech.

It is a long-term project, and its success depends on the trust built between writers and readers over time.

As an early version of Notes is being released, it may have some issues and imperfections.

Substack is open to feedback and aims to improve the feature based on user input.

Notes can potentially drive subscriptions as it helps users discover valuable content within the Substack ecosystem, making it easier to subscribe with just one click.

To get started with Notes, users can visit the Notes tab on substack.com or the Substack app and post their first note. Users can also invite subscribers to join the conversation and share their Notes on social media.

Writers and creators can use Notes to recommend other writers’ work, share commentary and inspiration, highlight quotes, and provide behind-the-scenes looks at their projects.

Notes can be navigated through the “Home” and “Subscribed” tabs, with the “Home” tab showing content from both subscribed writers and their recommendations, while the “Subscribed” tab shows content from writers the user has directly subscribed to.
