TikTok has announced the introduction of additional monetization opportunities for creators, aiming to reward their authentic content and provide support for their careers.
The platform recognizes the global reach of TikTok creators in bringing people together and fostering connections through trends, videos, and effects.
With the goal of further rewarding and empowering creators, TikTok is expanding its range of monetization features.
One of the initiatives unveiled is the Effect Creator Rewards program, designed to appreciate the impact of Effect House creators on the TikTok community.
These creators have played a significant role in sparking trends, shaping culture, and inspiring users worldwide.
The program includes a $6 million fund available to eligible creators in select regions.
Creators will receive payments based on the engagement their effects generate within the TikTok community.
For instance, creators will be rewarded with $700 USD for each effect used in 500,000 unique videos within 90 days of publication.
Furthermore, an additional $140 will be granted for every subsequent 100,000 videos published within the same 90-day period.
Additionally, TikTok has introduced the Creativity Program Beta, which recently opened its doors to all eligible creators.
This program aims to encourage creators to further explore their creativity, unlock higher revenue potential, and access real-world opportunities.
To be eligible for the program, creators must be based in Brazil, France, or the United States, have an account in good standing, possess at least 10,000 followers, and their videos must have garnered a minimum of 100,000 views in the last 30 days.
Moreover, the content should be high-quality and original, with a duration exceeding one minute.
The Creativity Program Beta features a new formula that offers a higher average gross revenue for qualified video views, allowing creators to earn more significant rewards.
In addition, the updated dashboard provides creators with enhanced insights, including estimated rewards, video performance metrics, analytics, and details regarding video eligibility.
